Isabel Silva

Isabel Silva is a nurse with a postgraduate degree in Occupational Nursing and passionate about the area of Health Promotion and Education.

Her professional experience includes providing care to the elderly, providing care in the context of a Psychiatric Unit and working as an Occupational Nurse. During this journey, they developed skills in designing, implementing, managing and evaluating health projects/programs as well as a passion for promoting health literacy, especially in the area of Mental Health.

She is determined, enjoys imagining and experimenting, learning and sharing experience and knowledge with everyone around her and nothing gives her greater satisfaction than feeling that she can make a positive impact on others. We believe that together we can contribute to making the world around us better.

Maria Eduarda Pinheiro Caldas de Oliveira was born in 1954 in Braga. Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon (FML), developed her professional activity as a Pulmonologist and retired as Head of the Pulmonology Service in 2010. For several years carried out hospital management roles in the National Health Service (SNS), alongside their clinical activity. At the same time, Eduarda Oliveira began artistic training in Painting two decades ago, at the Center for Art and Visual Communication (Ar.Co) and at the National Society of Fine Arts (SNBA) and completed a Postgraduate Degree in Contemporary Art and Curating at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon (FLUL), maintaining her career as a visual artist to this day.

Since 2019, she has been working as a Painting teacher and in 2023 was elected President of the Board of the Senior University of Oeiras (USO). As an Artist and Curator, she maintains activity in several projects, highlighting the Realces project for its relevance as an artistic and cultural, social and inclusive exhibition project, of tactile Art, promoting dissemination, accessibility and the opportunity to visualize and enjoy Art through the senses, allowing the involvement of blind or visually impaired people.
